Update on the Removal of Services and Physical Products from Raket
Today, we’re announcing an important change to the Raket platform. Beginning December 19, 2025, Raket will no longer support services and physical product listings. Going forward, Raket will focus exclusively on digital products.
Why we’re making this change
Over time, we’ve seen that services and physical product offerings no longer match the direction of the platform. After reviewing usage patterns and operational demands, we’ve concluded that the best path forward is to streamline the platform and concentrate on delivering the strongest digital product marketplace we can.
This focus allows us to improve reliability, reduce system overhead, and provide a safer, more consistent experience for creators and buyers.
What’s changing
1. Services & Physical Product listings will be discontinued
- Listings in these categories will no longer be accepted.
- Existing listings will be closed by December 19, 2025.
Sellers will still receive any pending payouts.
2. Buyer–Seller communication changes
With the discontinuation of services and physical product listings, Raket will also retire the in-platform chat (Raket Inbox) used for project coordination or order discussion.
Here’s how communication will work after the update:
- Buyers can still send a message to a seller from the listing page.
- When a buyer sends a message, the seller will see the buyer’s email address.
- Sellers can then reply directly to the buyer via email.
- Buyers are required to provide an email address, either by signing in with a Raket account or during guest checkout.
This shift simplifies communication and removes features designed specifically for service-based transactions.
3. Enhanced focus on digital products
All platform improvements, search enhancements, and seller tools will now be centered around digital products.
Expect ongoing updates to improve:
- file delivery
- listing quality
- search relevance
- buyer protection for digital goods
creator tools
What this means for you
If you are a seller of digital products, this change will be beneficial: it means more focus on your category, and more investment in the tools and features you use.
If you have current service or physical product listings, these will be automatically converted into listing credits.
For example, if you have 3 active service or physical product listings, you will receive 3 listing credits.
Listing credits are required to publish digital products on Raket, and this conversion serves as a small token of appreciation for the inconvenience caused by this transition.
If you previously sold services or physical goods, please review your listings and prepare for their removal by December 19, 2025.
